Yes, you can practice as a doctor in India after pursuing MBBS from abroad according to the latest rules specified by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The National Board of Education (NBE) conducts a screening test for which you need to appear. When you clear this test, the next step involves registration with the MCI. If you meet all of their criteria, they will register you, thus allowing you to practice in India.
